This thoughtfully restored 18th-century monastery built in 1773, the second historical property in the company’s ‘HERITAGE BY ATMOSPHERE’ portfolio, showcases sacred frescoes and Romanesque architecture, evoking the charm of Italy’s art, culture and cuisine from the northern regions.
Salil Panigrahi commented on the international expansion of Atmosphere Core and its entry into the European hospitality industry. Our unique Wine Program has been able to attract the top Bottega S.p.A. in Italy. These partnerships have brought Italy to Atmosphere and vice versa. We now look forward to our first destination in Europe being launched in 2026”.
Borgo Monchiero, a three-storey hillside retreat located in the heart UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a noteworthy three-storey hermitage with 19 elegantly designed suites and bedrooms, as well as a chapel on the property, perfect for wedding ceremonies. All of these features have been restored to their original beauty while preserving the monastery’s original features.
