British Airways will offer a direct flight every day from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) in the UK to Pittsburgh International Airport PIT starting Sunday 30th March 2025. The flight is available all year round. It departs London at 16.40 and lands at Pittsburgh at 20.00 LT, in just under eight hours. Return fares in economy start from £507 per person.

Pittsburgh, the birthplace of pop artist Andy Warhol is a vibrant city that offers a cheap urban escape to those looking for an authentic US holiday. With over 30 different museums to explore, including the Heinz History Center and Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and The Andy Warhol Museum – the largest museum dedicated to a single artist in North America, visitors will be spoiled for cultural choice. Pittsburgh is home to a variety of world-class restaurants and sports venues.

Sports fans can watch a Steelers match at the Acrisure Stadium, or a baseball match at PCP Park. Both offer spectacular views of the city’s skyline. Strip District is a great place to begin a culinary adventure. From Polish Pierogies and Italian Pepperoni Rolls to craft beverage options on every street, this district is bursting with delicious food. The city is particularly spectacular in the autumn when Pittsburgh’s tree-lined streets transform into a pretty palette of reds, oranges and yellows — an ideal setting for an exploration of the city’s 13-mile riverfront trail system on two wheels.
