China Eastern Airlines has recently launched a series of travel facilitation service at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
The implementation of Eastern E-services by the airline aims to improve assistance to international passengers who fly into the country. It also aims to boost existing baggage and transit routes in the Yangtze River valley.
Eastern E-Services include online systems for digital boarding cards, ticket booking, 24-hour transfer services, health services and declarations at customs and Immigration, as well as a city pass and a digital arriving card.
These services reduce the airline’s carbon foot print and make entry and exit easier for foreign travelers. The China Eastern Airlines App allows passengers arriving in China via Shanghai Pudong International Airport to obtain electronic boarding cards. They can also enjoy a range of convenient and extensive services.
China Eastern Airlines also offers a transit information submission online service for foreigners eligible for the 24-hour transit or 144-hour transit visa-free, which reduces the time required to complete the entry procedures.
The airline also extended the service hours of its domestic check in counters at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, ensuring 24/7 domestic check in services.
