Hilton announced that it had signed an agreement with Brighton Hotels and Business Plc. to open two properties in Ethiopia – DoubleTree by Hilton Adama and DoubleTree by Hilton Dire Dawa. The agreement marks the opening of the first internationally-branded hotels in both cities. Hilton has plans to expand its presence in Ethiopia by opening eight trading properties in the next few years.

DoubleTree By Hilton Adama is strategically located on the main route connecting AddisAbaba and is close to the Adama Science and Technology University and Oromia Regional State Council as well as various industrial offices and business.

The hotel will have 188 rooms and suites, all with views of the Rift valley. Guests can enjoy a variety of food and drink venues including a lobby café, a signature restaurant, a terrace, and a pool bar and grill. The hotel will have a ballroom and six meeting rooms. It will also have a business center, a spa and fitness centre.

Dire Dawa International Airport, which is less than ten minutes away, is also within easy reach.

The hotel will include 150 guest rooms and suites, diverse food and drink offerings such as a lobby café, a signature restaurant, a terrace, and a pool bar and grill. The hotel has a spa, fitness centre, outdoor pool and deck. Six meeting rooms, a large ballroom, and an event centre are available for events and meetings.
