IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a management agreement with Hulkul Hotels LLP to develop the Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru Lalbagh Road. The 100-key hotel is scheduled to open in Bengaluru’s thriving technology and business hub in the first quarter 2026. It will also address the city’s growing demand for both business and leisure travel accommodations.
This new addition highlights IHG’s strategic goal of expanding its footprint across India in high-growth areas. Holiday Inn Express is IHG’s largest and fastest growing brand with over 3,200 properties worldwide. The brand is renowned for its efficient services, modern amenities and smart travel options. The brand is designed for travelers who are constantly on the go, and offers a seamless combination of comfort, convenience, value, and quality.
Bengaluru, often referred to as the ‘Silicon Valley of India,’ is a thriving metropolis home to a robust IT sector, Fortune 500 companies, a vibrant startup ecosystem, and leading aerospace and defense organizations. The CBD, where the new hotel is located, is close to major corporate hubs and government offices. It’s a great destination for both business and leisure travelers.

The Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru Lalbagh Road offers 100 well-appointed bedrooms, an all-day-dining venue, a fitness centre, a business centre, ample parking, as well as a meeting room.

The company also has an impressive pipeline of 58 hotels scheduled to open in India over the next 3-5 year, further cementing the company’s position as the leading hospitality player in this region.
