IndiGo, India’s biggest airline, has announced that it will implement Amadeus Segment Revenue Management Flex. The cloud-based software will give IndiGo an intuitive user interface, and allow them to react faster to market dynamics. The solution, which integrates with IndiGo’s Navitaire New Skies Passenger Service System System (PSS), will allow for real-time data exchanges. This will allow for quicker responses to new bookings or equipment changes.

The Amadeus SRM Flex Platform offers flexible pricing capabilities that can be tailored to IndiGo’s specific strategies. These can be rule-based or science-based. The system automates repetitive processes, improving operational efficiency while unlocking new revenue opportunities.

Abhijit Dasgupta, Senior Vice President of Planning and Revenue Management at IndiGo, stated, “IndiGo is making great progress on its journey ‘Towards New Heights and across New Frontiers’ to adapt and excel in the evolving aviation industry. Amadeus’ Revenue Management will allow IndiGo’s team more granular steering control, quicker decisions, greater automation, and enhanced efficiency across operations. It will streamline interfaces and save time, allowing for more sophisticated strategy in a rapidly-growing network across diverse market segments and passenger segments.”

Javier Laforgue, Executive Vice President of Travel Unit & Managing Director, Asia Pacific at Amadeus, added, “We are delighted to work with IndiGo to maximise their revenue opportunities and create efficiencies that allow them to focus on delivering excellent service to passengers. Amadeus’ solution is modular and PSS-agnostic. It also integrates easily with external systems. IndiGo can now be assured of long-term growth as it expands.”

David P. Evans of Navitaire also stated, “We are excited that IndiGo adopted Amadeus technology to enhance their business growth.”

Our scalable platform helps airlines like IndiGo streamline operations and respond quickly to market changes. IndiGo’s adoption Amadeus Flex supports its rapid expansion trajectory, including a firm order of 500 A320 aircraft. IndiGo has over 400 aircraft and over 2,200 flights per day.

It connects 120 destinations, including over 38 international cities. IndiGo carried over 113,000,000 passengers in the past year. The airline also introduced IndiGoStretch’s business class and the IndiGobluChip loyalty programme.
