Recommendation for overnight stay: The Little’s Nature Retreat
Santosha Beach Bar does not offer overnight accommodation. The operators recommend staying at the charming Little’s Nature Retreat, which is just a few minutes’ walk from Gunjur and Kartong in Gambia. This environmentally friendly lodge offers its guests a breathtaking view of the lush nature and the opportunity to experience the flora and fauna up close on 40,000 square meters of wooded garden. Countless birds flutter around here, other animals also like to sneak up curiously…
The Little’s Nature Retreat accommodations are comfortable and have very good beds and many natural building materials have been used. The resort has amenities such as free Wi-Fi and private parking and private access to Kafaya Beach, the “most beautiful beach in West Africa”, according to well-traveled Africa experts.
An in-house restaurant serves European and African cuisine à la carte and the bar and terrace invite guests to relax. In the near future, the swimming pool will make the lodge even more attractive. The pool will be a further attraction of the lodge in addition to the magnificent beach.
