RIYADH – flynas, leading low-cost airline in the world and the best LCC in the Middle East announced taking delivery of its second new A320neo aircraft in 2025, which arrived at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
During Ramadan, the Saudi Arabian carrier increased its domestic and international seating capacity to approximately 1.5 million seats.
In Ramadan, flynas will launch a new flight route between Madinah in Saudi Arabia and Karachi in Pakistan. This route will have two direct flights a week. Its goal is to increase the number pilgrims and visitors who visit the holy mosques of Mecca and Madinah.
The fleet of flynas now comprises 61 aircraft. Of those, 53 are A320neos and four are A320ceos. Four are wide-body A330s. On the sidelines the Farnborough Airshow in London, flynas affirmed their intention to move ahead in upscaling their fleet and to become one of the biggest owners of modern aircraft in this region.
They signed a historic purchase order of 160 Airbus aircraft including 30 wide-body A330neos and 130 narrow-body A320s. This will double its order volume to 280 Airbus in seven years and make it one of the largest aircraft order books in this region.
