Jazeera Airways announced impressive financial results in 2024. The airline reported a net profit KD 10,2 million, an increase of 66.2 percent compared to the prior year. The airline’s operating revenue increased by 5.3% to KD 208.6 millions, while EBIT increased by 46.8% to KD 173 million. This reflects both strong passenger growth as well as operational efficiency.
Passenger numbers increased by 5.1% from 2023 to a record 4.9 million passengers in 2024. This growth was fueled by a strong demand during summer travel. The airline achieved a seat occupancy rate of 78.4 percent, demonstrating high load factor. Jazeera Terminal 5 revenues grew by 11,3%, totaling KD14 million.
Jazeera Airways announced a 15% increase in operating revenues to KD 45,1 million for the fourth-quarter of 2024. The airline’s quarterly loss was KD 4,2 million, but it was a marked improvement over the KD 7,14 million loss recorded in Q4 2023. This is due to the improved revenues and efficiency. The company saw an increase in Q4 passenger numbers, with 1.25 millions passengers, representing an 8.7% increase year-onyear. A load factor of 3.6 percent was also achieved, reaching 79.4 percent.

Jazeera Airways was the most active airline in Kuwait International Airport, with 18,374 aircraft movements. This is the third consecutive year that Jazeera Airways has been the most successful airline. The airline also improved its On-Time performance (OTP) by a staggering 86 percent in 2024 despite geopolitical challenges.
Jazeera Airways’ focus is on fleet optimization and the digital transformation. The airline plans to launch a 180-seater configuration by Q3 of 2025. With 26 aircraft arriving in 2027, Jazeera Airlines is well positioned for continued growth through 2025. The company will also upgrade Jazeera Terminal 5 so that it can support the growing passenger demand.
