Aircraft Engine Lease Finance, Inc. (AELF) announced it had leased a Boeing 737 to South Africa’s FlySafair. AELF acquired the 2016 vintage aircraft MSN 40971 with financing provided by Investec Bank Limited (Investec).

Both organizations deserve our thanks for their efforts on this deal, which is in line directly with our strategic plans in the narrowbody industry. AELF has actively acquired 737-800s in the last year as it expanded its aircraft portfolio. FlySafair’s narrowbody fleet is largely made up of 737-800s.

MSN 40971 was AELF’s 2nd 737-800 financed through Investec. The lender also financed a sister vessel with AELF last year.
