Oceania Cruises has announced a new value promise for its brand that includes an updated list of amenities that are always included for all guests around the world. The new Your World Includes value statement reinforces Oceania Cruises’ overarching brand promise Your World, Your Way.
All guests will receive automatic gratuities on board the ship for stateroom attendants and butlers. Previously gratuities were only included as part of travel partner or loyalty program amenities or offered to guests from specific regions.
Oceania Cruises president Frank A Del Rio spoke about the new promise: “Oceania Cruises promises to show our guests Your World. Your Way is at the heart our business, since we launched over 20 years ago. The change is a result of feedback from our guests, who said they preferred to include amenities valued equally by all rather than amenities valued only by some. This gives us a clear position in the cruise industry as the leading ultra premium line, offering outsized value for our guests.”
All new reservations for sailings departing after or on 1 January 2025 will receive the updated inclusions starting 1 October. Comparing premium cruise lines, guests receive amenities included in every stateroom that are worth more than $1800 for a 10 day cruise. This figure is based off of average charges for gratuities and non-alcoholic beverage packages. Oceania Cruises allows passengers to personalize their vacation by adding extras like air transportation and transfers or shore excursions.
After 30th September, Oceania’s value offering simply MORE will no longer be available. Guests enjoy the inclusions in simply MORE but would prefer to have global guest inclusions that are focused on what matters most. According to guest feedback, gratuities would be available to all of our guests.
