Say Hueque Argentina Journeys has reached a significant milestone by planting 100,000 native trees in Patagonia—a major step toward regenerative tourism and environmental conservation. This initiative was undertaken in partnership ReforestArg. A local NGO dedicated in restoring forests in Patagonia. It highlights Say Hueque’s deep commitment to preserve the region that it loves to explore. Say Hueque has planted 10 trees for each traveler to combat climate change. These trees offset approximately 22,600 tonnes of CO2 per year.
Say Hueque began this ambitious project in 2020, when he recognized the need for more action. Since then, the company has engaged in multiple large-scale planting efforts, focusing on areas devastated by wildfires, particularly in the Río Tigre Natural Reserve in Cholila, Argentine Patagonia. There, native tree varieties such as cypresses or coihues were replanted. This helped restore the region’s forests.
Say Hueque believes that each tree planted is more than just an environmental contribution. It represents a step towards a more connected, conscious world. Reforestation, which is central to the mission of the company, encourages travelers and tourists to preserve the beauty of Patagonia by making a positive contribution to the environment.
