SeaLink Marine & Tourism recently announced the appointment of Connect2India as its new trade distribution representative for India.
This partnership is timely, as India’s outbound tourism market has now exceeded Australia’s visitor arrivals before the COVID.
Indian tourists are increasingly in search of unique, high-quality destinations and travel experiences. This is due to the growing middle class in India. SeaLink hopes to showcase their unique destinations and experiences by tapping into the growing demand of Indians.
Richard Doyle, SeaLink’s general manager for global distribution and sales, commented:
“We are thrilled to partner up with Connect2India as the in-market sales agent for India.”
SeaLink’s unique experiences in Australia’s iconic holiday locations will resonate with Indian tourists, given the rapid growth of India’s tourism.
Doyle continued to say that Connect2India, with its strong relationships with Indian travel trade partners and their expertise in consumer trend, is the perfect partner for the cruise firm to expand its presence in India.
Connect2India is based in Mumbai and is part of Gaibo Agency, one of the few Australian owned agencies in India. The company is best known for promoting the leading Australian tourism brands.
