Thai Airways International has resumed daily direct flights between Brussels and Bangkok, reestablishing Belgium’s only non-stop flight to Thailand.

Thai Airways International launched its inaugural passenger flight from Brussels Airport to Bangkok. After a brief hiatus due to the Covid pandemic the airline has resumed its daily direct flights from Brussels Airport to Bangkok. This is the only direct flight between Belgium and Thailand. Thai Airways International, as a member airline of the Star Alliance group, further strengthens Brussels Airport’s position as an important international hub in Europe.

Thai Airways International resumed direct passenger flight service from Brussels Airport to Bangkok. This is the sole non-stop flight between Belgium and Thailand. The flight time is approximately 11 hours. The first flight took place on 1 December, with an inauguration and water salute. The airline uses Boeing 787-8 aircraft, which are among the most efficient models in terms of noise and emissions. The flights to Asia will not only carry passengers, but also cargo.
