Anantara Lawana Koh samui Resort and Anantara Bophut Koh samui Resort saw a 104 percent increase in online traffic, while bookings increased by 180 percent.

The White Lotus season 3 premiere in Thailand has had a significant effect on these properties. It has increased global interest and bookings. February saw an impressive 104 per cent growth in website traffic as well as a 41 percent increase in direct bookings, compared to the same time last year. In addition, the first two episodes aired on 16 and 17 February resulted a 53 percent increase in room nights, with bookings increasing by more that 180 percent on 24 February.

The interest in featured properties was not the only one to increase. Minor Hotels saw a 40% increase in web traffic for all of its Thai properties. Key markets such as the UK, US and India, Germany and France also showed significant growth.

Dillip Rakarier, CEO and Group CEO at Minor International and Minor Hotels, said “We’re delighted to see travellers inspired by The White Lotus’ stunning settings. We think this not only boosts international interest in Thailand but also strengthens its position a luxury leisure, wellness and wellness destination.”

Minor Hotels, owner of Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui (another major filming site for The White Lotus), continues to capitalize on increased interest in Thailand. Anantara, in response to the success of the series, is offering a “Lotus Awakening Escape” package that includes unique experiences at all three resorts, as well as lotus-inspired activities, to immerse visitors in the authentic spirit and culture of Thailand.
