Vietnam Airlines will expand its operations in India with direct flights from Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Hanoi beginning May 2025. The airline will operate three flights a week from Hyderabad and four from Bengaluru, further enhancing connectivity between India and Vietnam. These new services will be operated by Airbus A321 aircraft that provide a premium flying experience.

Vietnam Airlines’ expansion in South India follows on from the success of its existing operations out of Delhi and Mumbai. The additions of Bengaluru & Hyderabad to the airline’s route network offer enhanced connectivity for Indian travellers, not only to Vietnam, but also to popular destination across Japan, Korea, China, Australia & ASEAN countries. The new flights are designed to meet the growing demand of travel between India, Vietnam and other popular destinations for both leisure and business travellers.

Nguyen Hieu Trung, Country Manager India of Vietnam Airlines, expressed excitement for the expansion:

This strategic move will enhance air connectivity between India & Vietnam, allowing greater access to one the most dynamic destinations in Southeast Asia. The flights from Bengaluru to Hyderabad will provide greater convenience for travellers and support both tourism and business relationships between the two countries.
