Seefeld’s landmark is the Seekirchl, a small Baroque church with an onion dome, built around 400 years ago.

Thanks to its proximity to Innsbruck, a trip to the Tyrolean capital is always worthwhile – conveniently and stress-free by train from Seefeld station. The station underwent extensive modernization and redesign in preparation for the 2019 Nordic World Ski Championships.

Seefeld is thus exceptionally well connected to public transport: Traveling by train to the town center is easy, even for winter sports enthusiasts – a car is not necessary. This is complemented by a well-developed bus system that connects the Seefeld plateau with Mittenwald on the German side.
