Cebu – What to see and Do

  • Cebu City

Cebu Island is the starting point for most visitors. Arriving in Cebu Island is ideal because of the transport links that allow you to travel around the island. You can also take ferries out to other islands, such as Bohol. We didn’t stay long in the city because, like most people, we wanted to explore the beautiful nature and beaches of the Philippines. Cebu City is a vibrant city and spending a couple of nights there is well worth it.

  • Moalboal

One of our favorite places on Cebu. We stayed much longer than originally planned. We spent the time snorkelling along the coast in search of sea turtles. It took us two full days to find a sea turtle, which is not uncommon. The wait was well worth it as it was a beautiful, large turtle. We rented motorbikes and stayed outside of Moalboal, at a place named White Beach. We had a relaxing and enjoyable escape, but we still had easy access to all the amenities in Gaisano Town Center.

  • Diving with Whale Sharks

The ethics of swimming with Whale Sharks are very controversial, but it’s still a popular experience that brings many visitors to the island. It is getting busier and busier each year. Limiting the number of visitors would be a good idea for the Sharks.

  • Tumalog Falls

Oslob is home to another popular waterfall. The cascading water falls look like an umbrella falling over you. The large pool in blue is also a popular swimming area.

Cebu, also known as the Queen City of the South is an island that is filled with natural wonders. It also has a fantastic culture and tradition. Cebu offers you crystal-clear seas, lush landscapes, warm smiles, and a variety of other attractions.
